Chuck Rothenberg is a shareholder in the firm and the Chairman of the firm's Real Estate section. He is an attorney with experience representing commercial lenders, developers, builders, and commercial landlords and tenants. In addition, he represents property owners and developers in land use matters in Henrico, Chesterfield, Hanover, Ashland, New Kent and other jurisdictions in Central Virginia.
Relevant Experience:
- Structures, negotiates and closes real estate sales and acquisitions for commercial, office, residential and mixed-use projects. Assists purchasers in all phases of feasibility studies for acquisitions.
- Represents owners and purchasers on zoning and other matters before planning commissions, boards of supervisors and boards of zoning appeals.
- Negotiates, documents, and closes commercial loans, loan modifications, and loan workouts.
- Prepares integrated project documents for planned unit developments, including declarations of covenants, marketing agreements and form contracts for the sale of lots to builders and consumers.
- Represents developers in documenting, registering and updating condominium projects with the Common Interest Community Board.
