Luder is an associate in the firm's Litigation section, where he handles a wide range of civil and commercial matters, including Bankruptcy. Prior to law school, Luder spent two years as a missionary in Costa Rica, where he became fluent in Spanish. Luder later worked for Congressman Bob Goodlatte, serving the City of Staunton as well as the Counties of Augusta, Bath, Highland, Rockbridge and Rockingham in Virginia's 6th Congressional District.

Relevant Experience:

Luder represents both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving bankruptcy, construction, torts, and commercial contracts. He has also represented the interests of various financial institutions in both state and federal courts. Luder has represented:

  • Small and medium size companies in claims filed by and against consumers and clients.
  • Financial institutions in debt recovery efforts and to protect client interests in loan collateral.
  • Creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Clients have included landlords, contractors, credit unions and banks.
  • Contractors in various contract disputes with owners, general contractors and government entities.
  • Land owners in various proceedings, including quiet title and condemnation actions.
  • Insurance companies in defense of personal injury/tort claims.
