The event will give those interested in franchising the opportunity to meet with representatives from dozens of top franchise companies looking to expand into the Central Virginia region. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with lenders to discuss financing options for franchised businesses and attend educational sessions on a variety of franchising topics.

The weekend event will kick off on Friday evening, February 29, with Hirschler Fleischer franchise attorney Eric C. Perkins moderating a program titled "How to Franchise Your Existing Business," that will feature members of the Hirschler Fleischer Franchising Group -- Andrew M. Lohmann, David S. Lionberger, Robert P. Henley, J. Andrew Austin and Justin M. Laughter. The sixty-minute program will introduce business owners and entrepreneurs to basic concepts and considerations of franchising an existing business. A cocktail reception will be held immediately following the program for attendees and expo exhibitors.

Throughout the weekend, members of the Hirschler Fleischer Franchising Group will participate in several of the educational sessions offered for expo attendees, including "The A to Z's of Buying a Franchise" and "Opportunities in Franchising for Minorities and Women."
